Preparing this refreshing Pineapple Paloma Cocktail is a simple process. This delicious drink consists of tequila, pineapple juice, and lime juice. As the days start to signal the arrival of summer, we begin to crave beverages that provide relief from the heat, and the Pineapple Paloma Cocktail is the perfect choice to cool off.
The Pineapple Paloma Cocktail is a variation of the traditional Mexican drink typically made with tequila and grapefruit juice. In this recipe, we introduce pineapple juice, which pairs wonderfully with the tequila Texano, 100% Blue Agave.
Ingredients:
Tequila Texano Reposado 45 ml
Pineapple Juice 60 ml
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon sugar syrup or white sugar
Lime soda for topping off
Ice
Salt for the glass rim
Pineapple and/or lime slices for garnish
Steps:
Sprinkle a bit of salt on a small plate.
Moisten the glass rim by rubbing it with a lime slice.
Turn the glass over onto the salt to coat the rim.
Place several ice cubes in the glass.
Pour the tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, and syrup (or sugar) over the ice.
Gently stir with a spoon. If you're using white sugar, stir until the sugar dissolves.
Finally, top it off with soda and stir with the spoon.
Garnish with a slice of pineapple and/or lime. Serve the Pineapple Paloma Cocktail immediately.
